PG Hero prints QR codes onto event merchandise before the event. When your rep hands an item over at the stand, they scan it and link it to that visitor's company. From then on the code opens a landing page written for that company, and the rep gets an email or Slack message each time it's scanned.

Linking happens in the PG Hero web app on the rep's phone: scan the code, or type the short code printed under it, and pick the company. There's nothing to install.

Codes are printed in batches before the event, in house on our UV printer, so they keep working long after the event is over. A code scanned before it's linked opens the PG Hero site rather than an error page.

How does a rep link a code at an event?

In the PG Hero web app on their phone: scan the item's QR code, or type the short code printed under it, and pick the visitor's company. The code opens that company's page from then on.

What happens if someone scans a code before it's linked?

It opens the PG Hero site rather than an error page. Once the code is linked, the same QR opens the company's page.

Which items can carry a code?
