PG Hero / How it works
How PG Hero works.
PG Hero is direct mail for account-based marketing. You give us a list of accounts and the AE who owns each one. For every account we research the company, write a landing page for the buyer you choose, and post a gift box with a QR code that opens that page. The AE hears when the box is delivered and every time the page is read.
From a list of accounts to a scan.
Set up your brand
Paste your website. We pull your logo, colours, fonts, voice, features and buyer types, and you tidy it up in a few minutes.
Upload your accounts
A CSV with the AE who owns each account. We research every row: their site, their imagery, recent news and your own call notes.
Run a campaign
A page and a box for every account. Each AE reads, edits and approves their own before anything is posted.
We pack and post
Two to three weeks from kickoff to doorstep. You're told when each box is delivered and when it's scanned.
The page behind the QR.
Each page is written for one account, one buyer and the parts of your product that matter to them. We read the prospect's site, take their colours and tone, and keep your logo, type and call to action.
What goes into it
- Your brand profile. Voice, colours, fonts, logo and imagery, read from your own site.
- Your material. PDFs, decks and docs you upload. We extract the text so the writing can use it.
- The buyer. Pick a role, such as Head of Operations, and every section is written for their pain points and goals.
- Proof by sector. Customer logos and a film for each vertical you sell into. We never invent customers.
Who signs it off
The AE who owns the account edits and approves the page and the card before anything ships. You approve what goes in the box.
The box on their desk.
A rigid box in your brand, addressed to one person: printed tissue, wood wool, an A5 card handwritten and signed by their AE, and an engraved centrepiece they'll keep on the desk. The contents start from what your company stands for and, where it helps, the prospect's industry.
The QR code is printed on the things in the box, in house on our UV printer, so it still opens their page months later. See pricing for what a box costs.
What the AE sees.
Alerts go to the AE who owns the account, by email and Slack:
- when the box is delivered;
- the first time the QR is scanned;
- when the page is opened, and again when it's opened on another device, which usually means it's been passed to a colleague;
- when someone clicks the call to action, such as booking a meeting.
A weekday-morning digest lists the accounts that moved and the ones due a follow-up. Results export as a CSV for HubSpot, Salesforce or any other CRM, and page events can go to a signed webhook.
Questions
What is account-based direct mail?
Sending a physical item to a named person at an account you've chosen to pursue, rather than mailing a list at volume. PG Hero adds a QR code on the item that opens a landing page written for that company, so the send can be tracked and followed up.
Who writes the landing pages?
We write each page from research into the account and from your brand profile. The AE who owns the account edits and approves it before anything is posted.
Can I use the pages without sending a box?
Yes. Each page has its own link, so it can go in an email or a LinkedIn message, and it's tracked the same way.
Can my sequencer create pages automatically?
Yes. The PG Hero API writes a page when your sequencer, CRM or automation tool asks for one and returns the link for the email. Claude can make pages too, through the PG Hero connector. See integrations.
Does it work with my CRM?
Campaigns start from a CSV and results come back as a CSV, which imports into HubSpot, Salesforce or anything else. Page events can also go to a signed webhook.
